Queen Vashti Deposed

It was the 7th day that Vashti refused to come before the King.

Esther 1

10 On the seventh day, when King Xerxes was in high spirits from wine, he commanded the seven eunuchs who served him—Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, Abagtha, Zethar and Carcas- 11 to bring before him Queen Vashti, wearing her royal crown, in order to display her beauty to the people and nobles, for she was lovely to look at.

12 But when the attendants delivered the king's command, Queen Vashti refused to come. Then the king became furious and burned with anger.

Notice we are at (Dec 22nd) the 7th day of Hanukkah, and it was also the 7th day when Vashti was deposed (also see my other posts regarding Vashti)

Notice the defiance starts at verse 12 and then continues through the chapter until the chapter finishes at verse 22. A reference to today? 12/22 and what is happening Spiritually?

If so, this is significant since it is after this that King Xerxes sends out to look for Virgins to replace Queen Vashti. We do know that Esther is called up in the month of Tebeth (or Tevet) which today is the first (December 22nd = Tebeth/Tevet 1st today).

Tebeth/Tevet will run from today until January 19th. But December 31st, New Years Eve, is Tebeth/Tevet 10th. This is a guess, and I am personally looking to this date for personal testimony reasons (I’ll try and write and post this), but 10 is a number God has used before. 10 commandments, 10 plagues, etc. 10 is a number for perfection of divine order (according to the book Number in Scripture by E.W. Bullinger). Noah was the 10th generation, 10% tithe, 10 virgins, etc. There are other numbers that hold lots of significance, but 10 is an important number and happens to fall on this important day.

…continuing to look and watch!

Blessings,
